Location of Rockfort Island. IRL there’s nothing actually there but ridges in the South Pacific Ocean. Closest piece of land is Alejandro Selkirk Island.  They weren’t far from Hawaii if they wanted to go there that’s for sure. Also, the location of the Antarctic Base: Let’s say that the distance was around 4,863 miles going 300-515 mph(on cruise control) via a C-17 style Cargo Plane. Steve and Claire would have been dormant from 9-16 hours. Which begs the question…was the laboratory actually closer to the ridge instead of being so far in? How else did Wesker zip out of there with the submarine so fast?
